We're excited to announce that the BASE website is now up and running at www.base-hub.co.uk.
BASE: Bewbush Activities and Sport, is a new chapter for the Bewbush Pavilion and Sports Ground. After a period of closure, this much-loved community space is reopening its doors with a clear vision: to create a welcoming place where people of all ages can come together through sport, activity and connection.
What is BASE?
At its heart, BASE is a space for the community. Whether you're a parent looking for activities for your children, someone who wants to get active, or simply looking for a place to meet others and feel part of something local, BASE is here for you.
The site is home to a large two-storey community building and extensive outdoor sports facilities. On the ground floor you'll find modern changing rooms, accessible toilets and shower facilities, along with flexible spaces for community and sporting use. Upstairs there's a spacious social and function area with kitchen facilities, ideal for classes, meetings, workshops and community gatherings, with lift access throughout the building. Outside, the grounds feature grass pitches designed for football and a range of team sports.
What's happening at BASE?
BASE will host a mixture of community programmes, league fixtures and organised events throughout the year. From children's football camps and coaching sessions to celebrations, corporate hire and community gatherings, the space has been designed to be flexible enough to support it all.
We're also passionate about working alongside local coaches, businesses and organisations that share the same values and want to help create opportunities that make a real difference within the community.
